I thinkif we don't buy coca cola, we probably will buy other brands of cola drinks, Pepsi perhaps. Mecca Cola maybe or whatever else brand.
So the amount of money spent on Cola will not shrink but will go to other brands, so if Coke closes shop (unlikely) the slack in production has to be taken up by others, who can then hire those laid off by Coke
Unless of course if Coca Cola is suggesting that their drinks is so special that fans will be left craving and unwilling to drink anything else
BTW I don't think the point here is to bankrupt Coca Cola but to send a message that the Muslim economy is strong enough to effect the West, after all this is as much economic warfare as it is about territory

I don't think this boycott is going to give positive results. How would McD or Coca Cola contribute in the war on Gaza?
Just like if our dungu ministers pisses off our neighbor, does their boycott of say our vege export or Maybank going to do much to influence these dungus to do anything different? Hack our dungu ministers don't even bother about local Malaysian's view let alone some views from abroad.
The point I am making is that decisions are made not by the company we are going to boycott. We may have to think this out clearly. Don't simply go blindly an eye for an eye.

the logic behind the boycott is this: If you boycott the companies, their lobbyists will harass their congressman about it. But of course they will only harass if the boycott actually dents their pockets. Why should the congressman listen? Well the orgniasers figure that since Coca Cola, Starbucks and Procter and Gamble (the maker of colgate) are part of the powerful Jewish lobby, the congress will have to listen to them
Lets boycott Coca Cola,Pepsi Cola Macdonalds,Krispy Kreme, KFC, etc not because they are US products/franchises but becuse they are really unhealthy!
